Freeport International Airport (FPO)

Overview

One of the most popular airports in the Caribbean, Freeport International Airport is also known as Grand Bahama International Airport, and is located three miles (4.8km) outside of Freeport on the island of Grand Bahama.

Flights to Freeport International Airport are almost exclusively from Florida and other Caribbean airports, with selected routes from other cities in the American South and Canada. The airport is a convenient travel hub for holidays in the Bahamas, as it is one of only two airports in the Caribbean with US Border Pre-Clearance facilities.

Location

The airport is situated three miles (5km) outside Freeport on Grand Bahama Island.
