Getting to the city
Buses run from the airport to the city: The 'Pratinha-Pres Vargas' bus, number 638, is the best option; it departs from the traffic circle outside the terminal roughly every 40 minutes, and costs about BRL 1.50. Taxis and rental cars are also available.

Taxis are available from the airport. Some taxi drivers can be negotiated into a significantly lower fare if bargaining with them in person outside the terminal.
