Ontario International Airport
Ontario International Airport is a relatively small airport. It
handles just 4.8 million passengers each year, but it is equipped
to handle twice that amount.
The airport consists of a number of terminals, which are all equipped with great basic facilities. Staff are friendly and helpful and the airport is a convenient alternative to some of the larger airports in the region.
The airport is just over two miles (3.7km) from downtown Ontario, and 35 miles (56km) east of downtown Los Angeles, in California.
Getting to the city
The best way to get into town from Ontario Airport is to take Omnitrans bus No. 61. It runs at 15-minute intervals and costs just $1.75.

Travellers can find metered taxis on the curb outside baggage claim.
Transfer between terminals
The terminals are all located adjacent to one other. A free shuttle runs between the terminals at regular intervals of around five to 20 minutes depending upon time of day.
ATMs, baggage cart rental, payphones, pet relief areas, wifi, retail outlets, duty-free shopping and restaurants are all available at Ontario International Airport.
Short-term parking is best at daily Lots 2 and 4, which are close to the terminals. Rates start at $3 for the first hour and $2 per hour thereafter, up to a daily rate of $18. Long-term parking is available in Lot 5 and costs $9 per day. It is connected to the terminal via a free shuttle service.
Southwest Airlines operates the majority of flights to Ontario International Airport, but other airlines such as Delta Airlines, Alaska Airlines, Continental Airlines, US Airways, United Airlines and Aeromexico also offer flights to the airport.
Free wifi is available to passengers passing through Ontario International for up to four hours a day. Travellers simply need to connect to the ONT-WiFi network from a personal device, then launch a browser window and accept terms and conditions.
