Rarotonga International Airport
Rarotonga International Airport is a few minutes from Avarua. It is the main entry point for those travelling to the Cook Islands.
There are only a few airlines that offer flights to Rarotonga International Airport on the remote Cook Islands and as such the airport is generally quite quiet and a breeze to pass through. Most flights to the Cook Islands originate in Australasia, but there are some from as far afield as Los Angeles.
The airport is situated two miles (3km) west of Avarua.
