Daytona Beach International Airport

Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB)

Overview

What was once a small airstrip for private planes has grown into a modern facility offering convenient access to the busy holiday resorts in central Florida. Located three miles (5km) out of central Daytona Beach, Daytona Beach International Airport has three runways and two terminals that serve nearly 300,000 passengers each year.

Flights to Daytona Beach International Airport are limited, however there are busy routes to nearby cities like Charlotte and Atlanta. The airport is often overlooked in favour of larger airports in Orlando and Jacksonville, however the small facility is a great way to avoid the congested traffic of those facilities.

Services and amenities at Daytona Beach International Airport are basic, but there are a few shops and restaurants to keep people entertained while they wait for their flights.
