West Palm Beach International Airport (PBI)

Overview

Palm Beach International Airport is centrally located with easy access to Boca Raton, Jupiter and other surrounding counties as well as Palm Beach itself. It has a range of great restaurants as well as a selection of souvenir and retail outlets as well as putting green!

The airport is located four miles (6km) west of Palm Beach.

Getting to the city

There is a public bus service connecting to various points in the Palm Beach area, departing from Level 1. Shuttle buses outside Level 1 take passengers to West Palm Beach to connect with TriRail, which runs trains to Miami. Supershuttle provides door-to-door services, but should be booked in advance if possible. Taxis are available, and many hotels provide transport for guests.

Passenger services at the airport include bars, shops and restaurants, ATMs, currency exchange, hotel reservations and travel insurance. The Traveler's Service Center on the second floor offers meeting rooms and business facilities, including fax, Internet and photocopying. Disabled facilities are good; those with special needs should contact their airline in advance.

Parking

Premium parking at Palm Beach International Airport costs $2 for the first 20 minutes, $1 per 20 minutes thereafter and $30 per day. Short-term parking costs $1 per 20 minutes up to $17 per day. Long-term parking is $13 per day and the Park & Ride Lot charges $7 per day and is connected to the airport via a regular shuttle service.
