Getting to the city
The IDELIS shuttle service offers travellers access to Pau's town centre and train station. The shuttle departs every hour between 7.40am and 7.10pm, Monday to Saturday, from the IDELIS bus stop just to the right of the terminal building exit. Tickets cost €1.50 and can be purchased from the shuttle driver. The journey to the train station takes approximately 30 minutes.

Taking a taxi from Pau Airport to the centre of town costs approximately €30 (with rates going up at night and on Sundays and public holidays). It is essential to book a taxi, especially on Saturday evenings, Sundays, and public holidays when there is no shuttle bus service. Airport facilities include shopping (duty-free shopping available in the departure area), a restaurant, a snack bar, a bank, a post office, newsagents, and a tourist information area.
There are two parking areas available at Pau Airport providing 1,300 parking bays. For long-term parking, travellers are advised to park in P2 as it offers great value for money for those parking for more than 24 hours. For drop-offs or pick-ups, this airport offers 30 minutes of free parking. Parking rates range from €1.80 (for one hour) to €33.50 (for 72 hours).
