Cologne-Bonn Airport is conveniently located halfway between Cologne and Bonn. The sixth-largest airport in Germany, the facility serves nearly 10 million passengers each year, mostly on low-cost airlines.

The airport is located eight miles (12km) southeast of Cologne and 10 miles (16km) north of Bonn.
