Ports of Call
- St George's
Maurice Bishop International Airport is small by international standards, but what it lacks in size it makes up in friendliness, hospitality and efficient service. The airport was formerly known as Port Salines International Airport and started out as the hub of a US military invasion. It was expanded by the late Prime Minister Maurice Bishop, and now serves as the main gateway for many tourists flocking to enjoy Grenada's tropical beaches.
The airport is situated six miles (11km) from St George’s.
