Located in the state of Gujarat and serving the cities of Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad Airport has four terminals that serve mostly domestic passengers from Indian cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Jaipur, however there are flights to Ahmedabad from international cities like New York, Dubai and Singapore.
Ahmedabad Airport is well-designed, and the attractive terminal is meant to resemble the kites flown in the city's annual kite festival. While the facilities are basic, there are a number of duty-free shops and restaurants, and there are several convenient options for getting into town. The airport can be especially chaotic around the busy Hajj period, however it has additional facilities to handle the increased traffic.
All parking at Ahmedabad Airport is charged at INR 60 per hour, and there are parking facilities at both terminals.
Flights to Ahmedabad Airport are available on Air India, Air Arabia, Emirates, Singapore Airlines, Qatar Airlines, Gujarat Airways, Indian Airlines, Jet Airways and SpiceJet.
There is currently no wifi at Ahmedabad Airport.
There is no business centre in Ahmedabad Airport, however the VIP area in the International Terminal and several airport hotels provide services to business travellers.
