Ahmedabad Airport

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport (AMD)

Located in the state of Gujarat and serving the cities of Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad Airport has four terminals that serve mostly domestic passengers from Indian cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Jaipur. However, there are flights to Ahmedabad from international cities such as New York, Dubai and Singapore.

Ahmedabad Airport is well designed, and the attractive terminal is meant to resemble the kites flown in the city's annual kite festival. While the facilities are basic, there are a number of duty-free shops and restaurants, and there are several convenient options for getting into town. The airport can be especially chaotic around the busy Hajj period, though it has additional facilities to handle the increased traffic.

The airport is located in Hansol, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

There are parking facilities at both terminals.

There is currently no WiFi at Ahmedabad Airport.

Business Lounges

There is no business centre in Ahmedabad Airport, though the VIP area in the International Terminal and several airport hotels provide services to business travellers.

Ahmedabad Airport Taxis: the taxi fares above are intended as a guideline only.
