The airport is located less than eight miles (13km) west of Genoa.
Getting to the city
The Volabus shuttle departs the airport every 30-60 minutes from around 5am and 11pm, heading to the Brignole and Principe Train Stations via the city centre. Tickets are €6 from the airport or on the bus. The I24 shuttle service also departs the airport roughly every 40 minutes between 6.50am and 7.30pm, connecting the airport to the Sestri Ponente district and its railway station; tickets are €1.60.

Car hire companies at Genoa Airport include Avis, Budget Sixt, Europcar, Hertz and Maggiore.
Taxis are available outside the arrival concourse. Flat rates to the major train stations are available for shared cabs, and an extra €1 per person is charged for night fares and on Sundays.
There are restaurants and bars, shops, ATMs, VIP lounges, a lost and found, and information services at the airport. An airport hotel is also available, and the airport has meeting facilities.
There is long and short-term parking available within walking distance of the terminal. The short-term lot (P3) is free for the first 30 minutes, then charged at €2.50 for the first hour, and €3 per hour thereafter. The Central car park (P1) is €2.50 for the first hour, €5.50 for two hours, €8.50 for three hours, €16 for eight hours, €21 for 12 hours, and €25 for the first day. Parking for eight days costs €70.
