Queen Alia International Airport (AMM)


The airport is situated 20 miles (32km) south of Amman.

Getting to the city

There is a public bus service to and from Amman leaving every 30 minutes between 7am and 10pm and every 60 minutes between 10pm and 7am. Tickets cost JOD 1,500 per person and luggage is an additional JOD 0.25 per item.

Terminals at this airport are within walking distance from each other.


Facilities include a bank and bureau de change, duty-free shopping, bars and restaurants, and a medical centre. There are also bedrooms, showers and playrooms for rent by the hour. A tourist help desk is also available. Facilities for the disabled are good.


The airport has six parking lots that can accommodate up to 1,392 cars.
