The airport is situated 20 miles (32km) south of Amman.
Getting to the city
There is a public bus service to and from Amman leaving every 30 minutes between 7am and 10pm and every 60 minutes between 10pm and 7am. Tickets cost JOD 1,500 per person and luggage is an additional JOD 0.250 per item.

Airport taxis are available at both terminals. Prices are fixed.
Facilities include banks and bureaux de change, duty-free shopping, bars and restaurants, and a medical centre. There are also VIP and business lounges. A tourist help desk is also available. Facilities for the disabled are good.
The airport has six parking lots that can accommodate up to 1,392 cars. JOR 0.395 for the first hour, JOR 0.534 for the second hour, JOR 0.661 for the third hour and JOR 2.38 for up to 12 hours. Daily parking is charged at JOR 3.93 for the first day and JOR 1.90 for every subsequent day.
