Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport, or Mauritius International Airport, is located approximately 26 miles (48km) south-east Port Louis in Mauritius. It comprises of a single terminal building with Arrivals on the ground floor and Departures on the upper level.
The airport only caters for passengers, which means that there
is no landside part of the building. Although generally efficient,
passengers at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport
should expect some queues or delays during peak holiday season. In
general, the airport is exactly what one would expect of an island
airport. It has its charm, but what passengers are really after are
the beaches once they've exited the airport building.
The airport is 26 nautical miles (48km) southeast of Port Louis.
