Acapulco International Airport
The airport is situated 16 miles (26km) southeast of Acapulco.
Getting to the city
An airport minibus service (Servicio Colectivo) goes regularly to the city centre, dropping off on request. Many local hotels offer shuttle service to guests.

Car rental companies Alamo, Avis, Budget, Europcar, Thrifty, and Hertz are represented at the airport.
Taxis are available outside the main terminal. Rates are based on a zone system, the type of vehicle, and number of passengers. Passengers can buy tickets at the taxi kiosk.
Transfer between terminals
The airport has two terminals, however only one serves commercial passenger flights.
There are shops, bars and restaurants at the airport. Other facilities include banks, currency exchange services, shoe shine, vending machines, a post office, a tourist information kiosk and business facilities (including fax and internet). Disabled facilities are good; those with special needs should contact their airline in advance.
Parking is available and costs MXN28 for the first hour thereafter MXN7 for every 15 minutes. The maximum daily rate is MXN240.
