Tijuana International Airport
The airport is located about three miles (6km) from the city centre, immediately south of the US border.
Getting to the city
Blue-and-white public buses marked 'Plaza Rio' or 'Centro' run to the city centre from outside the airport, charging MXN 8.50. International coaches are also available to San Diego and other destinations in Southern California. Taxis and rental cars are also available.

Rental cars are available from ACE, Alamo, Auto Europe, Autozone, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Economy, Hertz, Honk, Sixt, Thrifty, U-Save, and Zoom.
Yellow taxis are plentiful, and will take passengers to central Tijuana (Zona Centro) for around MXN 250. Fares can be paid in Mexican or US currency. Tickets for authorised taxis can be purchased at ticket machines at terminal exits at a fixed rate.
Transfer between terminals
In December 2015 a new terminal was opened, on the US side of the border. The two terminals are connected by a bridge.
Terminal facilities include VIP lounges, currency exchange, ATMs, shops and a food court.
Long-term parking costs about MXN 12 per day in the open lot and MXN 16 per day in the covered parking.
Wifi is available in the terminal.
