The airport is located nine miles (15km) south of Asheville.
Getting to the city
Bus services are available to downtown Asheville at a cost of $1 via the South 3 Route. The Apple Country Transportation Blue Route goes to Hendersonville at a cost of $0.75. Many local hotels offer free shuttle transfers to guests.

Car rental companies represented at the airport include Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, Alamo/National and Thrifty/Dollar.
Taxis are available to and from the airport at a cost of $2.50 per mile, with $2.50 flag fall.
Airport facilities include a business centre, vending machines, rocking chairs, a guest service centre (faxing, scanning, printing, and postage available), post boxes, courtesy phones, a restaurant, art gallery and live piano player.
Short- and long-term parking is available at the airport. Short-term parking costs up to $1 for the first 30 minutes, $1 for every addition 30 minutes after that and a daily rate of $12.50. Long-term parking costs up to $1.50 for an hour, $1.50 for every additional hour, a daily rate of $8 and $48 for a week with the seventh day being free.
