Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International

Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG)

Overview

Located 13 miles (20km) outside of Cincinnati, Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport is a busy Midwestern hub, and one of the primary gateways to Ohio. Serving nearly eight million passengers each year, Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport has a reputation as a pleasantly efficient facility; and although services and amenities are very basic there are plenty of shopping and dining options in Terminal 3, which resembles a shopping mall more than an airport!

Most flights to Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport are operated by Delta, and although it is an international airport, nearly all routes are domestic with short flights to Atlanta and Chicago being the most popular. The airport's small size puts it at a disadvantage in the winter, when de-icing aircraft and runways can cause longer delays than in larger facilities.
