Portland International Airport
Close to 15 million passengers pass through Portland International Airport each year. It is the busiest airport in Oregon and accepts flights from across the United States and Canada. There is also one intercontinental flight to and from Amsterdam.
Portland International Airport doesn't offer too many passenger amenities and there are often traffic jams en route to the airport. It is best to allow some extra time when picking up or dropping off passengers. A laptop or tablet device is recommended for those passengers spending a couple of hours in the airport.
The airport is sited 9 miles (14km) from downtown Portland.
Getting to the city

Trains run every 15 minutes between 4.30 a.m. and midnight. All transportation pick ups are located in the central area of the airport terminal's lower roadway on the baggage claim and departure level.
