Tocumen International Airport
A short drive from Panama City is one of the busiest airports in Central America. Tocumen International Airport is the main entry point to holidaymakers flying to Panama. The airport has a modest selection of shops and restaurants and is well serviced by taxis waiting to transport passengers to their hotels.

Getting to the city
There are buses and minivans dubbed Taxi de Turismo, which can be booked from the Information Booth in the arrivals hall. The transfer time is about half an hour.

Car hire companies represented in the arrivals hall include Alamo, Avis, Barriga, Budget, Dollar, Hertz, National and Thrifty.
Regular taxis operate day and night at fixed prices depending on the number of passengers, but are not metered.
Transfer between terminals
The terminals are within easy walking distance of each other.
There is a bank and ATM, a restaurant and coffee bars, as well as snack bars. Last-minute gifts can be bought at several stores on the first and second floors, including duty-free. Baggage storage is available, and information booths are located in arrivals.
Parking at Tocumen International Airport is plentiful and very cheap.
Flights to Tocumen International Airport can be booked on Continental, American Airlines, Iberia, Copa, Aires, Delta, Grupo Taca, Avianca and Lloyd Aero Boliviano.
No wifi services are currently available, but internet services are available with two hours free access.
Located on the ground floor, the business centre offers Internet, cable and telephone services. It costs between $25 and $50 to get into the Tocumen Royal Saloon VIP Lounge. Conference facilities are available at the Hotel Riande Aeropuerto.
