Vladivostok Airport is a relatively under-utilised airport and serves just over a million passengers each year. The airport is situated on Russia's eastern coast just north of the Korean peninsula and relatively close to Japan. Valdivostok Airport is also known as Knevishi Airport and is located 31km (50km) from the town of Vladivostok.
Although many regional cities, such as Moscow, Seoul, Beijing,
Tokyo, Hong Kong, St Petersburg and Hanoi, offer fly to
Vladivostok, it is difficult to book flights to Vladivostok from
outside of the Asian subcontinent. However, the Russian government
announced that the airport would be upgraded ahead of the APEC
Russia 2012 Summit on Russky Island.
The airport is 31 miles (50km) outside Vladivostok.
Getting to the city
Bus: The airport is served by two buses that stop at the airport terminal square and then travel into Vladivostok. Bus 107 and 101 both travel to central Vladivostok. Fares are RUB 55.

No major rental companies offer services at the airport. Passengers wishing to rent a car will need to organise a rental through their travel agent before flying to Vladivostok. Local drivers licenses are essential when hiring a car.
Taxis wait outside the terminal, but it is often difficult to find a good deal. A share-taxi costs RUB 500 to RUB 600 and private taxis cost between RUB 800 and RUB 1200. Be sure to agree on the price before leaving the airport.
Transfer between terminals
Terminals are within easy walking distance of each other.
Bank, ATMs, currency exchange, luggage storage, medical centre, mother and child room, handicapped facilities, wifi, souvenir shops, newsstands, duty-free shops, a coffee shop and a restaurant are all available within the terminal.
Parking bays are located just outside the terminal.
Flights to Vladivostok Airport are generally only offered from other Russian or regional airports. Airlines with flights to Vladivostok on their itineraries include Russian carrier Aeroflot as well as Transaero, Korean Airlines, China Southern, S7 Airlines and a few others.
Wi-fi is reportedly available at Vladivostok airport. It is accessible via a prepaid system. Prepaid cards are available from the 'cloak chamber' or luggage storage facility in the Domestic Terminal.
Business and airline lounges are not available at Vladivostok Airport.
