Columbia Airport
Columbia Metropolitan Airport (CAE)
Overview
Columbia Metropolitan Airport is the primary airport for South Carolina, a beautiful but often overlooked state when it comes to US tourist destinations. Located in Lexington County, five miles (8km) southwest of central Columbia, the airport serves only one million passengers each year on five airlines.
There's nothing unique or special to shout about in the terminal other than a few shops and restaurants, so passengers would do well to bring a book or iPad to entertain themselves with while waiting for their flight.
