Overview
Sioux Falls Regional Airport is just a few miles from the centre of Sioux Falls in South Dakota, the largest city between Minneapolis and Denver. The airport is also known as Joe Foss Field Airport, after the famous aviator by the same name. It was founded in 1883. Today, it caters to an average of 200 commercial flights per day and over 700,000 passengers each year.

The airport is located three miles (5km) northwest of Sioux Falls.
