A small airport on the tiny Spanish island of Minorca, Menorca Airport (also known as Mahón Airport) is a basic facility serving tourists to the Mediterranean island. A few shops and cafes are all that passengers can expect to find in the way of entertainment.

Processing just fewer than one million passengers each year, most flights to Menorca Airport are seasonal, coming from destinations in Europe like London, Rome, Paris, Lisbon, berlin, Madrid, Copenhagen, Munich, and Ibiza.

Location

The airport is located 3 miles (about 4.5km) southwest of Mahón.

Getting to the city

Public bus services operate between the airport and Mahón (fare is €1.60).

There is one car park for up to 195 vehicles. Parking at Menorca Airport is free for the first 30 minutes, then charged at €0.40 for the next half hour, and €0.75 every hour thereafter, with a daily rate of €7.50 for the first four days and €6 per day after that.
