Overview
Situated in the Kluton district on the outskirts of Zurich, the Zurich Airport is a short ride to the city centre and is well connected to other major cities across Switzerland. The airport offers plenty of tempting shopping options, ranging from luxurious Swiss chocolate to popular timepieces and watches. The airport also has a wide selection of restaurants, bars and airline lounges.

opportunities for passengers to stretch their legs and occupy
themselves while at the airport. Zurich International Airport
offers easy access to Swiss ski resorts where holidaymakers can
enjoy the great mountain scenery of the Alps and other ranges
within Switzerland.
Location
The airport is situated eight miles (12km) north of Zurich.
Getting to the city
Swiss Rail (SBB) provides fast and efficient transport to the city centre. The station is located below Arrivals and trains leave every 10 minutes for Zurich and other destinations; travel time is ten minutes and fares are determined on the type of pass and the number of city zones crossed. The Glattalbahn tram line services other nearby cities and the outskirts of Zurich. Taxis outside of arrivals terminals 1 and 2 cost US$44 for the 20 minute ride to the city centre (Tel: 0848 850 852). Hotel shuttle buses and a variety of public bus services extend across various routes.

Airport Taxis
Metered taxis are available outside Arrivals 1 and 2. The 15 minute taxi journey to Zurich costs around CHF 50. To book a taxi in advance call 0848 850 852.Facilities
Facilities include banks, bureaux de change, bars and restaurants, postal services, shops including duty-free, business facilities and a crèche. Facilities for disabled passengers are excellent.
Parking
There are many parking facilities at Zurich International Airport. Parking in P1, P2 and P3 in the multi-storey car park, which is connected to the terminal, costs CHF 2 for 15 minutes for the first hour and CHF 3 per hour thereafter. A short walk from the terminal is P5, which offers cheaper rates starting at CHF 5 for the first hour and CHF 2 per hour thereafter. P60 is connected to the terminal via a free shuttle service and is significantly cheaper for passengers wishing to park their vehicle for four days or more. Pick-up and drop-off zones are situated along the access road in front of the arrivals and departures sections, but will cost drivers CHF 2 per 15 minutes.

Passengers can also make use of public computers available at surfpoints marked with an @ sign.

There is a range of airline lounges at Zurich International Airport including the Swiss Business Lounge, Swiss Arrival Lounge, SKYTEAM Lounge, Dnata Skyview Lounge, Panorama Lounge and the Emirates Lounge as well as many more. The Radisson Blu Airport Conference Centre is situated alongside Parking Garage P1, while the Priora Business Centre is also an option.
