George Bush Intercontinental

George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH)

Overview

George Bush Intercontinental Airport is an enormous airport located 20 miles (32km) north of downtown Houston. The airport's large size makes it intimidating to navigate, and passengers should allow plenty of time when catching flights and making connections.

However, the large terminals offer lots of entertainment for passengers with a bit of time to kill, including dozens of shops and plenty of restaurants serving great Texas barbeque.

One of the fastest-growing airports in the US, George Bush Intercontinental Airport serves just over 40 million passengers each year on flights to destinations around the world, including Paris, London, Tokyo, Sao Paulo, Toronto, Amsterdam and Moscow.
