Overview

The airport offers tourists a number of last-minute shopping opportunities, but it is generally designed to allow passengers more time on the beach and less time in queues in the terminal. Location

The airport is situated 20 miles (32km) northwest of Phuket.

Getting to the city

Taxis are the most convenient way to Phuket, but fares should be agreed in advance. An Airport Bus also offers transfers to town. Many hotels also offer transport.
