Phuket is the dream destination for hedonists, sun-seekers and island adventurers alike. Phuket International Airport offers travellers a quick and easy way to transit from the airport to the pristine beaches and relaxing massage parlours of one of the world's favourite holiday destinations.
The airport offers tourists a number of last-minute shopping opportunities, but it is generally designed to allow passengers more time on the beach and less time in queues in the terminal. The locals will greet you with broad smiles and offers of easy transport connections to the city as you begin your sultry island adventure.
The airport is situated 20 miles (32km) northwest of Phuket.
Getting to the city
