The airport is located 3.5 miles (6km) northeast of central Norfolk.
Getting to the city
There is no public transport offered to Norfolk Airport; however, taxis, shuttles and rental cars are available and some local hotels offer free shuttle service to guests.

Rental cars are available from Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz and National. The rental car offices are located in the baggage claim area below the main terminal lobby.
Taxis are available from outside baggage claim; up to five people can ride in one cab with no additional fee.
Airport services include ATMs, a bank, currency exchange, mail drops, conference facilities, a lost and found, USO services, and a variety of retail shops and dining options.
Short-term parking is charged at $1 every 30 minutes, with a maximum of $24 per day. Short-term metered parking is available in the North Lot Adjacent for $0.25 per 10 minutes, and is ideal for pick-ups and drop-offs. Long-term parkind is $1 per 30 minutes up to $9 per day.
The airport offers free wifi throughout the terminal.
