Rakovsky Brovar
If you like a brew to accompany your dinner, Rakovsky Brovar, a popular restaurant/brewhouse contained in a historic building in the Rakovsky suburb of Minsk, is the place to go. This vast establishment retains its old-world charm despite a modern interior. There are two levels containing different rooms where several different types of in-house brewed beer are served up, and diners can watch the brewing process. Open from 12pm to midnight.

Gostiny Dvor
An elegant but cosy restaurant, ideal for wintry evenings, is the Gostiny Dvor which serves up a delicious menu of European and old Russian cuisine, with different specialities listed on a regular basis. The restaurant is centrally situated in the heart of the city near the Red Church, and is renowned for its vast array of cocktails. Live jazz or violin music accompanies diners every night. Open 12pm to midnight.
