Airports in Havana
Formerly known as Rancho-Boyeros Airport, José Marti International Airport is located nine miles (15km) southwest of Havana, and is Cuba's main airport. Serving as a hub for Cubana de Aviación, Aerogaviota and Aero Caribbean Airlines, the facility serves several million passengers each year.
The airport's four passenger terminals each have their own purpose: Terminal One serves domestic flights, Terminal Two handles Special Authority flights to and from the US, Terminal Three is for international flights, and Terminal Four primarily serves Aero Caribbean and Aerotaxi. Facilities are basic but good, with a modest variety of shops and restaurants with 24-hour service.
Flights to José Marti International Airport in Havana are available from destinations all over the world, including Toronto, Paris, Moscow, Frankfurt, Beijing, Montreal, Mexico City, Amsterdam, London, Los Angeles and Lima.
The airport is situated 11 miles (18km) from Havana.
Getting to the city
Buses depart the airport for Havana every 30 minutes from 10am to 10pm.
