The climate of Havana is tropical, and it is hot and humid all year round with little variation in temperature. The only relief from hot, sticky weather is during the night in January and February, when it is cool enough to need a sweater. The dry season runs from November to April, and the rainy season from May to October. During the last two months of the rainy season Cuba is at risk of experiencing hurricanes.
