The weather in Prague is generally mild. Summers are warm and wet, with occasional hot spells, but the temperature falls dramatically at night. In winter temperatures are usually at freezing point or below, particularly in the coldest months of January and February, but snow is rare. Spring is the sunniest season, most of the rain tending to fall between May and August.
