Cheap Flights to Crete from the UK:
There are flights to Heraklion International Airport from most major UK airports and direct flights from London take about 4 to 5 hours. The airport is 3 miles (5km) east of the city of Heraklion on the island of Crete.
Which airlines fly to Crete?
British Airways has two direct flights a week to Heraklion from Gatwick. Olympic Airlines also flies to Heraklion, but indirectly via Athens. There are dozens of cheap charter flights to Heraklion from Stansted and Gatwick, as well as from other UK regional airports including Birmingham, Glasgow, Belfast, Manchester and Newcastle. During the summer season between May and September charter flights to Crete also fly into Hania from Gatwick, Manchester and Newcastle airports.
