Café Paradiso
Café Paradiso is renowned for being one of the top vegetarian restaurants in Cork. The menu focuses on locally-produced fare, but includes exotic combinations like pumpkin mezzaluna in lemon-chilli butter, or feta, pistachio, and couscous cake. Their fixed-price early bird dinners are good value at less than €30.

Market Lane
This award-winning double-storey restaurant focuses its menu around local produce and delicious irish meats and cheeses. Always bustling, the dining room is too noisy for an intimate night, but fun for big groups, and you can enjoy Irish dishes with seafood, steak, ham, or vegetarian options. Market lane only takes bookings for groups of six or more, so small parties should arrive early (before 8pm).
