During summer, temperatures can reach around 99°F (37°C), while winters are relatively mild, with temperatures rarely dropping below 32°F (0°C). The city does, however, occasionally experience snowfall in the winter. Fukuoka's rainy season is between June and July. Spring is also a popular time for visitors as the city's beautiful cherry blossoms emerge in full force.
