Osaka has an extensive subway network, which provides an easy way to get around the city. Depending on the distance, an average fare is around ¥200-360. The JR Osaka Loop Line is an above-ground rail that runs around central Osaka stopping at 19 stations, 12 of which connect to other lines. The city runs a dense network of buses covering most parts of Osaka, with fares between ¥100-200. Ferries are also a fun way to travel along the coast of Osaka Bay, stopping at several popular tourist attractions. Most residents get around by bicycle, and the city is flat and easily navigable.
