Portland International Jetport (PWM)
Overview
Portland International Jetport serves just 1.6 million passengers each year and is located two miles (3km) from downtown Portland, Maine. Although the jetport is relatively small, a new terminal was opened in late 201. The jetport now boasts expanded waiting rooms, security facilities and a revamped food concourse.
The staff have a reputation for friendly and efficient service, making it a great introduction to the New England region. Importantly, passengers should be sure not to confuse this airport with Portland International Airport, which is located on the west coast of the United States, in Portland, Oregon.
Location
Portland International Jetport is located five miles (8km) from downtown Portland.
Getting to the city
Taxis are available at a flat rate from the first flight in the morning to the last flight at night. Limousines are also available. The Portland Explorer shuttle service connects the Jetport with Portland's main transportation facilities and certain other locations.
