Darwin has a tropical monsoon climate, most notably during the hot and humid summer months from November to April, known as the wet season. Almost all of the areas annual rainfall occurs during these months. The weather between May and October is consistently warm, with temperatures only dropping to a cool 66ºF (19ºC) in the evenings.
