Hiring a car is perhaps the easiest way to get around Cleveland, as the city is laid out in a simple-to-navigate grid pattern. The city is served by the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority, a bus and rail system that has good service around the city, although coverage in outlying areas is more sparse. Tourists will want to take advantage of the Health Line, which runs along Euclid Avenue and connects many of Cleveland's popular tourist attractions. Taxis are expensive and must be booked in advance by phone.
