Tulsa Transit provides bus service within the Tulsa metro area. Buses are not a major form of transportation in Tulsa, and are mostly designed for commuters, thus travellers may find them a slow and inconvenient method of getting around the city. There is a free downtown circulator service called The Loop that runs on Friday and Saturday evenings between 5pm and 1.30am. Tulsa has an extensive network of paved bike trails; however, the rolling landscape may prove a challenge for all but the fittest cyclists, especially in the heat of summer. The best way to get around in Tulsa is by car, as the city is laid out in an easy-to-navigate grid pattern.
