Airports in Fuerteventura
Fuerteventura Airport serves just over 3.7 million passengers each year on flights to the Canary Islands. While Fuerteventura isn't as popular as neighbouring islands Gran Canaria and Lanzarote, Fuerteventura Airport sees a steady stream of traffic as holidaymakers from those islands make day trips to Fuerteventura.
Situated 3.1 miles (5km) from the capital city of Puerto del Rosario and just a fewminutes from Caleta de Fuste, the airport is a small facility with a few shops and restaurants. Passengers should note that prices at these outlets tend to be much higher than those in town.
Flights to Fuerteventura Airport are available from most major European airports, however many routes are only available in the peak summer season.
