Gran Canaria Las Palmas Airport (LPA)

Location: The airport is situated on the east coast of the island, 10 miles (16 km) south of Las Palmas.
Time: GMT (GMT +1 from last Sunday in March to the Saturday before the last Sunday in October).

Getting to the city: Most tour operators arrange transport for their clients. For those that don't, there is a taxi rank at the airport and frequent bus services between to Las Palmas and other towns on the island.
Car rental: Alamo, Avis, Dollar, Europcar, Hertz and National are all represented in or near the airport.
Airport Taxis: Taxis are available at the airport outside the terminal buildings. Taxi fares to Playa del Ingles and San Agustin are approximately €25, while fares to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria are €30 and it will cost between €36 and €40 for a taxi from Gran Canaria Aiport to Maspalomas, Puerto Rico and Arguineguin/Patalavaca. Taxis to Puerto de Mogan generally start at €50.
Facilities: Facilities at the airport include bureaux de change, ATMs, a post office, a children's play area and a wide variety of shops, bars and restaurants. Disabled facilities are good; those with special needs are advised to contact their airline in advance.
Parking: Parking at Gran Canaria Airport is free for the first 30 minutes, then charged at roughly €0.018 per minute. Long-term parking is charged at €10.60 for the first four days, and €8.50 per day thereafter. Parking can be difficult to find on peak days, especially Mondays in season.

Santa Cruz La Palma Airport (SPC)

Location: 5 miles (8km) south of Santa Cruz La Palma
Time: GMT +1

Getting to the city: There is regular bus service to the airport from La Palma.
Car rental: Autos Ancar, Avis, Cicar, Europcar and Hertz operate car hire facilities at La Palma Airport.
Airport Taxis: Taxis are available outside the terminal. There is an airport surcharge of €1.65 in addition to the fare.
Facilities: The terminal contains duty-free shopping, restaurants, banks, tour operators, meeting rooms, police station, children's play area, first aid station and information desk.
Parking: There is short and long-term parking available at the airport. Parking is free up to 30 minutes, with a daily maximum rate of €7.20.
