All primary London airports connect to Madrid as well as the UK cities of Bristol, Edinburgh and Liverpool. All offer budget flights to Madrid except for London City Airport. Madrid Barajas Airport is located 8 miles (13 Km) from Madrid's city centre. Flights from London to Madrid take approximately 2hrs 30mins flying time. Madrid is a popular flight destination and is subsequently busier and more expensive during summer and holiday months.

Which airlines fly to Madrid?

The main scheduled carriers, British Airways (www.ba.com) and Iberia (www.iberiaairlines.co.uk), offer several daily flights to Madrid from Heathrow, with less frequent, but nevertheless regular, departures from Gatwick, Birmingham, Dublin and Manchester airports as well.
