Sur Reina Sofia Airport, Tenerife (TFS)
Location: The airport is sited in the south of Tenerife, within easy distance of the west coast resorts, but 40 miles (60km) southwest of Santa Cruz.Time: GMT (GMT +1 between the last Sunday in March and the Saturday before the last Sunday in October).Contacts: Tel: +34 (0)922 759 200, +34 (0)902 404 704. Getting to the city: Most tour operators arrange transport from the airport. For those that don't, there are regular buses to Santa Cruz, Los Cristianos and other towns and resorts on the island. Taxis are also available. Car rental: Car rental companies represented at the airport include Avis, Hertz, Europcar, Cicar and Record. Facilities: Facilities at the airport include restaurants, bars, shops, ATMs, a bank, post office, children's play area and currency exchange facilities. Disabled facilities are adequate; those with special needs are advised to contact their airline or travel agent in advance. Parking: Parking at Tenerife South Airport is opposite the terminal and costs €10.60 per day for the first four days, thereafter it is €8.50. The hourly rate is very specific at €0.019150 per hour. Location: San Cristóbal de La Laguna, 6.8 mi (11km) from Santa CruzTime: GMT (GMT +1 between the last Sunday in March and the Saturday before the last Sunday in October).Contacts: +34 91 321 10 00 Getting to the city: There is regular bus service to a number of local destinations from the airport. Car rental: Avis, Europcar, Autos Reisen, Cicar-Atesa and Hertz operate car hire facilities at Tenerife North Airport. Airport Taxis: Taxis are located outside the terminal. There is a €1.65 airport supplement, and the average fares are as follows: La Laguna €10, Santa Cruz €16, and Puerto de la Cruz €29.10. Facilities: The terminal contains currency exchange facilities, duty-free shopping, several restaurants, banks, VIP lounges, and a first aid station. Parking: There is a multi-storey car park located opposite the terminal building. Short-term parking is free up to 30 minutes, and the maximum daily rate is €10.60.
