One of the largest wine and spirit exhibitions in the world, Vinitaly is Italy's most important wine fair and is the place for all wine enthusiasts to come together and enjoy five days of guided tasting sessions, competitions and meetings. Over 4,000 exhibitors come to Verona from wine regions in countries as far afield as Argentina, and others closer to home like France and Spain. Visitors, critics and wine connoisseurs can enjoy tasting some of Italy's finest wines each year at this annual event. Four days is barely enough to scrape the surface of what's on offer at the world's largest wine exposition. The VinItaly Business Series features fascinating talks and presentations every year, tackling problems and trends in the wine industry and attracting many experts in the field. There is a lot to learn at Vinitaly, but it is also a fun festival which doesn't have to be taken too seriously by those who just want to enjoy the explosion of tastes and sample as much wonderful wine as possible; the event caters for amateur enthusiasts and industry experts and there should be something for everybody.
