The Halifax International Busker Festival celebrates street theatre in all its forms every year in August, with over 500 performances by musicians, acrobats, magicians, comedians, actors, artists, and other unusual acts from all over the world. The festival draws more than 500,000 people annually to the Halifax waterfront, with venues including the Maritime Museum, Summit Plaza, Sackville Landing, and Spring Garden Road in Victoria Park. Admission is free, but you can buy a full programme for C$2.
