Arrecife Carnival

The Carnival and its famous parade is Lanzarote at its exuberant best, a feast of music, dance, celebration and traditional culture. It takes place in late February to early March each year, before Lent. Each year is guided by a theme - the 2012 instalment for example is shaped around Vikings.
