PAN Amsterdam is a hugely popular and well-respected art, antiques and design fair which brings together the best art dealers in Europe in one location. The leading national art and antiques fair of the Low Countries, PAN Amsterdam has an incredible variety to offer collectors. Whether an old hand in the business or a newcomer just browsing, one may happily peruse for hours the sheer diversity of ceramics, jewellery, furniture, silver, glassware, manuscripts, ornaments, clocks, sculptures, paintings, photographs… the list goes on and on. There is a huge range in price, with some affordable pieces and some phenomenally expensive treasures. Everything is carefully vetted by experts before the fair opens so the quality is reliable. There are also some lectures and workshops on subjects relating to the trade, but these tend to be conducted in Dutch only. For tourists who just want to pop in and browse PAN Amsterdam is conveniently located in the centre of the tourism territory, near the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum.
