The International Festival of Arts and Ideas

Each year in June, innovative musicians and dancers, brilliant theatrical performers and bright and emergent thinkers descend on New Haven. The Festival fuses arts and ideas programs, showcasing hundreds of international events of various genres at different venues around the city. More than 80 percent of the events, which span serious, controversial and whimsical topics, are free to the public.
