This has led to some surprising and sometimes extreme solutions; such as a bath doubling as a table; a bed as a chair; or cabling space as a clothes cupboard. Some bathrooms are of the fold-out variety; others have ?disappeared?; so that the shower is situated inside the room itself. |

| Lloyd Hotel has two pleasant and friendly restaurants within the hotel called the Snel and the Sloom. Restaurant Snel is the larger of the two restaurants and its name denotes a quick bite; this is however not the case. We would actually prefer it if you wined and dined to your hearts content and eat and drink as long as you'd like. The difference to it's smaller more expensive brother Sloom is you're able to mix and match what's on the menu as apposed to Sloom where you actually determine what's put on the menu. The food is simple; made from reliable ingredients and all different tastes from the classic European cuisine will be available. |

| To get to the Lloyd by car from the A10 ring road; take exit S114 (Zeeburg/Centrum/Artis) and follow the signs for Centrum; the centre. Follow this road straight ahead. It will lead you into the Piet Hein tunnel. In the tunnel; keep to the right hand lane. When you exit the tunnel turn right at the lights; onto the Piet Heinkade. Turn right at the first lights the road takes a sharp turn to the right; you are now on the Oostelijke Handelskade. If you wish to park in the parking garage; you turn right into the garage after the second building. If not; keep going straight ahead along the Oostelijke Handelskade. The Lloyd Hotel is located 400 meters along on the right hand side. |
