Jasper C; Jun 2007 ...Courcheval has some of the best skiing in Europe and the nightlife and restaurants are also top class. Quite pricey though. We skied the three valleys (Courcheval, Meribel and Val Thorens) fairly extensively. The Courcheval Valley alone offers a tremendous amount of skiing and better skiers can explore the whole ski area without rushing back too quickly. Beginners can always stick to the runs above Courcheval 1850 and 1650 - even if they managed to get to Val Thorens they'd have problems getting back before last lifts, but you can always meet for lunch in Meribel.
